Smuggled goods seized at Hani i Hotit Customs House

The Customs House of Hani i Hotit in cooperation with the Anti-Smuggling and Customs Investigation Groups, during their inspections, found that in the vehicle of the citizen with the initials B.B. were concealed undeclared goods intended to be entered into the Albanian territory smuggled from Montenegro. In the vehicle of this citizen are seized goods which have to pay excise duty and customs duty like, Trokadero 158 packs of cigarettes, beer and other food and detergents.

The Directorate of Investigation at the General Directorate of Customs continues its investigative procedures in order to fully detect this criminal offense and refering the case to the Prosecutor's Office of the First Instance Court of Shkodra for the criminal offenses of smuggling with excise goods provided for by Article 172 of Criminal Code and smuggling with other goods provided by Article 174 of the Criminal Code.
